PROFILE
As the statistician and methodologist for the College of Nursing’s Office of Research, Dr. Anne Norris facilitates the research of the nursing faculty by providing statistical and research methods support. She is also a professor in the college’s PhD program.Dr. Norris earned her PhD in nursing and psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Authoring more than 45 publications on various public health issues, she specializes in the mental and physical health of immigrants and minorities, as well as the psychological factors that influence their health. Currently, she is working with the UCF Institute for Simulation and Training to develop interactive, computer-based pregnancy prevention games for local middle school students.
She is a registered nurse and a fellow in the American Academy of Nursing, an elite distinction held by about 1,500 nursing leaders nationwide. She has presented her research around the world, including Canada, Cuba, Ireland, Thailand, and the Virgin Islands. Download full CV.
