Application Requirements
RN-to-BSN and AS-to-BSN Program
Minimum application requirements
Acceptance to UCF (Applicants who are not already enrolled at UCF must be accepted to the university by the nursing program deadline—refer to UCF’s undergraduate catalog for requirements). Click to apply to UCF.

Graduate of an accredited associate degree or diploma nursing program.

Current license as a Registered Nurse (or be NCLEX-RN eligible) by the program application deadline.
Progress toward the UCF general education requirements, an AA degree from a Florida community or state college, or eligible for the Statewide Articulated AS-BSN program.
Minimum overall undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (as determined by UCF).

Completion of nursing prerequisites with a grade of “C” (2.0) or better in each course. If substituting a different physical or life science course in place of chemistry, an APG petition form must be submitted and approved PRIOR to submission of an application to the College of Nursing. Please see a College of Nursing advisor if you have questions about this process.
Transfer Student Admissions
UCF’s Office of Transfer & Transition Services provides information on how to transfer to UCF and apply for admission to the College of Nursing.
